The Historical Society has produced a Journal for 25 years, publishing the work of local historians and recording significant events. The Journal was the successor in turn to the History Journal, published between 1972 and 1991 by the Saffron Walden Antiquarian Society.
The Society has decided to take this opportunity to re-launch the Journal, in full colour, in a new 64-page format. The Journal will be published annually in the Spring, edited by Helen Lunnon, herself a distinguished historian, who took over from Jacky Cooper in 2022.
