Ashdon Windmill was originally constructed c. 1754-7 and remains as an important landmark on the outskirts of the village.

Ashdon Windmill Trust was formed to save, acquire and restore the mill to working condition. In 2024, to keep the mill sound and fully functional, it needed repainting to ensure timbers were protected from wind and rain, so that the building remains a safe, practical and enjoyable attribute to the people of the local area and visitors alike.
