Introduction

This talk is about Julie Milller’s Research into female Quaker networks in the 18th century.

Quiet Quietly With Feet Forward – By the mid-1640s many radicals were taking advantage of the new freedoms of religious thinking and one who became prominent was the charismatic preacher George Fox, who initially formed the ‘Children of Light’, which became the Religious Society of Friends, or Quakers in 1652.
